Huck Ashford is the country music project of Clayton Thayer. His songs follow backroads, complicated love, close friendships, and the courage to start again. Tenderness and humor sit side by side, with stories drawn from life and shaped for a song.

Coming out later in life opened a new chapter for Clayton. His perspective as a gay man is woven into the stories, while country storytelling stays at the center. Roads They Never Knew Were There is on Spotify now; Good in the Woods is scheduled for October 20, 2026.
